Master recordings from legendary rock bands Boston, Foreigner, and Journey are now available for download in Activision, Inc.’s Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Classic Rock Track Pack. The downloadable track pack is currently offered on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 and will be available soon on PLAYSTATION Store for the PLAYSTATION 3.

NAMCO BANDAI Games today revealed information and assets for the six new plane variants for Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation that will be available for download from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on Thursday, January 31. Featuring classic squadron themes from previous entries in the Ace Combat series and several original designs, these new plane updates let players experience their favorite aircraft online and in the game’s single player campaign with a new look and enhanced capabilities.

UT 3 Xbox 360 90 Percent Done - Update

Update:
A MegaGames reader who didn’t reveal his name noticed that the magazine is called 360 Live and translated that “the german equivalent of the MPAA (FSK) has cut this game drastically. Almost no blood and no gibs for the German players”.

Original Story:
A scan from an unnamed German magazine has been floating around the internet today and revealing that the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 is 90% complete.

If the article is to be trusted, Unreal Tournament 3 will Xbox 360 sometime in April, 2008.

Development of the Xbox 360 version of the game has been going well until three months ago when Epic decided to concentrate on the Playstation 3 version.

Far Cry 2 Heading For Consoles Too

Ubisoft announced today that Far Cry 2 is being developed for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

According to the official press release: “More than just a visual and technological achievement, Far Cry 2 immerses players in an entirely new kind of gaming experience, featuring a custom-made video game engine built from the ground up. Players will discover a true open world gameplay set in one of the most beautiful environments in the world, Africa, brought to life by high-definition next-gen technology.”

Far Cry 2 is being created by Ubisoft’s Montreal development studio and is scheduled to ship Ubisoft’s 2008-2009 fiscal year.

ONLINE team play released for NBA LIVE 08

Electronic Arts released free downloadable feature called Online Team Play for NBA LIVE 08 that will enable 10 people on 10 different consoles anywhere in the world to connect online to play a single match. The new feature is automatically available for the PS3 computer entertainment system when connected online. It will be accessible on Xbox 360 ™ to informational plays and entertainment system later this month.

NAMCO BANDAI Games America announced today that a free Culdcept™ SAGA demo is now available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Culdsept Saga mixes chance and the strategy of a board game with depth of commercial game in maps to create the unique junction of traditional game grounded in turn.
